2008 graduate of Brian Utting School of Massage, COMTA accredited; Seattle, WA. 1000 hour program included: Human Cadaver Anatomy, SOAP charting, Pathology and Contraindications, Communication Skills, and massage modalities such as Deep Tissue, Injury Evaluation and Treatment, Neuromuscular Technique, Myofacial Release, Sports Massage, Swedish Massage, Bindegewebe Massage for menstrual cramps, Pregnancy Specific Techniques, Muscle Energy Technique, Shiatsu, Thai, Hot Stone, Craniosacral, Reflexology and Hydrotherapy (heat and ice applications).

In addition to the required elements of my massage education I participated in the Pacific Northwest Ballet Outreach program 2007-2009 and I am presently a member of the Therapy Team at Pacific Northwest Ballet.

Continuing Education

2009-2010 Structural Injury Treatment Series of eight classes focusing on how structure and its dysfunction can lead to pain and limitation. Progressing through the body starting at the feet and moving up. The curriculum centered on functional anatomy as well as common injuries and how they relate to structure. Combination of testing, palpation and myofascial treatment as well as visual structural assessment.

2019 Cranio-Sacral at Bastyr University.

Intra-oral Endorsement

2011 techniques to assess and treat upper cervical, head and jaw dysfunction associated with TMD (temporo-mandibular dysfunction).

Pilates Instructor Certification

2012-2013 completed a 550 hour teacher training with Vitality Pilates in the Mount Baker neighborhood of Seattle. I am certified to teach Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and props classes.

Equine Massage Certification

2018 completed my Large Animal massage certification in Hood River Oregon with the Northwest School of Animal Massage. Im well versed in providing maintenance massage for horses and other large quadrupeds.

Massage Research

Authored a Silver Award-winning case report for the American Massage Therapy Association student contest entitled; "Bulimia Nervosa and Massage: a case report examining body awareness with Co-Morbidities Anxiety and Depression". Presented at the 2010 AMTA Complementary and Integrative Medicine conference.
